Drink Your Greens

Juicing is an excellent way to get tons of vitamins and nutrients that help your skin, especially if eating fruits and vegetables isn't your thing! Although the taste may take some getting used to, you can add in some orange or apple juice to make it taste a little sweeter!

You can add in all sorts of different ingredients depending on what you have and what you like!

Ingredients:

  • 3 kale leaves
  • 1 green apple
  • ¼ of a large cucumber
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 1 handful of cilantro leaves
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • 1 small slice of fresh ginger
  • Coconut water

          Directions for juicing: Start by processing the kale, cilantro leaves, and coconut water in the juicer. Next add in the sliced apple and cucumber.

          Option: If you don’t have a juicer you can always make it in a blender. 

          Directions for blending: Cut up the apple and cucumber and remove the skin, remove all leaves from stems. Add in all ingredients and blend on high for about a minute. Makes about 1 large serving!
