Why I Started - On A DPR Level: The Journey
You may have noticed I’ve been quiet on here… The DPR SKN Journal, social media, emails… but I’m here to change that.
The past few months I’ve been questioning what makes me happy, what brings me joy, what I’m passionate about and I’ve realized that it’s helping people heal their skin through my products and gain a little more skin confidence along the way and embrace their natural beauty.
When a customer tells me how much the Clay Mask or Face Oil has helped their skin, it’s an amazing feeling. A reminder that I’ve created great, quality products that actually work.
When I first created the idea of DPR SKN, I wanted it to be a place of inspiration, knowledge, growth, change, and simplicity, where embracing one’s natural beauty and taking a less is more approach at the forefront. My mission was formulating and developing products conscientiously and effectively to make positive changes, heal breakouts, and instill more self-confidence in my customers. My goal was to have The Journal a place that brings all that together in easy to read articles and journal entries. It’s been a while since I’ve written and the past few years have been hard on everyone and has left me uninspired to share my thoughts, knowledge, advice, and more. But, I must endure and carry on and I have a few quotes that always pop in my head that really help me when I’m feeling down, unmotivated, or uninspired…
Nothing changes, if nothing changes.
Instead of asking why me, ask why not me? I am capable and deserving.
Nothing good comes from staying in your comfort zone.
The idea that if they can do it, why can’t I? is always in the back of my mind. Now I’m putting it into action, knowing that “I AM” the answer to the question “why can’t I?” and making it an “I CAN” and will be my own success story for my DPR SKN journey!
